The GJPSR aspires to become a major and independent voice in Political Science and International Relations scholarship. Building on the expertise and experience of its Board members and associates, the journal aims at becoming a platform to encourage the submission of those manuscripts that engage in cutting-edge theoretical debates and theoretically informed analysis that reflects the best of the global social science community.
The Global Journal of Political and Social Research publishes peer-reviewed scholarly contributions across the full breadth of fields in Political Science and International Relations, from cutting-edge theoretical and methodological perspectives about topics of contemporary and historical interest. Theoretically-aware analysis and conceptual innovation forms the core of the journal’s dissemination of social science scholarship throughout the global academic community. In keeping with the various roots of social sciences and particularly with political science and International Relations, this includes a commitment to underlying philosophical and normative issues relevant to the field, as well as interaction with related disciplines in the social sciences and humanities. This theoretical and methodological openness of the GJPSR aims to produce an international /universal journal with global impact, fostering broad awareness and innovation in various disciplines of social sciences.
With this mandate, the journal aspires to become a major and independent worldwide voice across the sub-fields of political science and International Relations scholarship. The Editors embrace, and are committed to, further developing the vision and mission of the journal as they navigate through the treacherous waters of world politics. Therefore, the journal aims to achieve a balance across the diversity of the field and promote deeper understanding of the rapidly-changing world around us. This includes an active and on-going commitment to facilitating dialogue with the study of global politics in the social sciences and beyond. The GJPSR embraces genuinely interdisciplinary scholarship that actively engages with the broad debates taking place across the contemporary field of political science and International Relations.
